Moreno, a 5-11, 208-pound native of Belford, N.J., has rushed for 1,113 yards this season making him only the second player in Georgia history to secord more than 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons (Herschel Walker, 1980-83). Moreno, who also has 19 catches for 197 yards in 2008, has scored 15 touchdowns this season, which is the most scores by a Bulldog since 1992 (Garrison Hearst, 21).
Through 10 games, Moreno is tied for the lead in the SEC in scoring (9.0 points/game) and is second in rushing (111.3 yards/game). He currently stands at the No. 7 spot in school history with 2,447 yards rushing in only two seasons.
Hearst won Georgia its only Doak Walker Award in 1992.
