Johnson Gets First Offer

Playing for the Buford Wolves in Georgia is a little like playing for the Yankees in Major League Baseball - all eyes are on you at all times.

2010 running back Storm Johnson is now getting his share of looks and just recently he picked up his first offer from Stanford. Stanford may have gotten this first offer in but many more are coming and coming soon.

What are your stats so far this year?
Storm Johnson: "I have 1,091 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns"

How do you feel about this week's challenge in the semi-finals?
Johnson: "Fitzgerald is a very quick team. We have been impressed with them on film. Jemea Thomas is a great player , he just took over that Pepperell game."

What is your current height and weight?
Johnson -" I am 6'0" 212lbs now up from 194 last spring."

Can you tell me the schools you have visited so far?
Johnson:" Yes Sir I have been to Georgia, Texas, Ohio State, Miami, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Stanford. Stanford offered me while I was out there."

What are your top 5 schools as of today?
Johnson- " If I had to say a top 5 today in no particular order Alabama, LSU, Stanford, UGA and Texas."

Final Word: Marcus Lattimore is going to get all the attention early on as a national recruit in the 2010 RB class, but Storm Johnson will also have his share of pub as the spring and summer combines approach. He is a very versatile back between the tackles or on the edge. Johnson looks really smooth with the ball in hand and runs with nice low frame meaning he can shed tackles alot better and get the tough yards. He has the best vision of any of the 2010 running backs I have seen so far. I look for the him to get alot of early offers and Dawg will keep you updated every step of the way with this elite running back.
