Oliver reschedules surgery, visit

Paul Oliver, a Georgia verbal did not make it to Athens for the Gala, why?

"I did not make it up to Athens this weekend," said Georgia verbal Paul Oliver. "I wanted to focus on school. I have finals this week."

Oliver, who suffered an ACL injury earlier this year, was scheduled to have surgery today, but did not. He will reschedule his surgery for January. He went on to say that he would also reschedule another visit to Athens in January. He previously visited Athens for the Georgia-Tennessee game in early October.

"Richt now I've got all flexibility back," said Oliver of his knee. "The good thing about the injury is that they have told me that you get stronger and you get faster from it," said Oliver. "I just use it as motivation," he added.

Oliver committed to Georgia on June 23rd. Coach Mike Bobo is recruiting him for Georgia. Oliver was Georgia's second verbal behind only Dacula's Des Williams.
