"We just talked some football, we talked about Georgia, they talked about how they could use me, and I just felt very comfortable with them. They don't have to sell Georgia to me; I mean Georgia is Georgia. It is a great school and I really like the coaches."
Kenney took a visit over to Athens and watched the Dawgs prepare for Michigan State back in December. It was then that he got to meet the UGA Head Coach for the first time. He was impressed then and his feelings did not change after tonights visit.
"Coach Richt just wanted to get to know me tonight like the rest of the coaches. He is just a great man and easy to talk to. He is a man that can change a guy's life. I think it was an honor to just have him in my home and I am glad he came. I really like Coach Richt a lot."
Coach Bobo, Coach Searels, and Coach Ball made an impression too.
"They all had good things to say and they are all good guys. Coach Bobo talked to me about how he would use me at Georgia and he talked to me about what he is trying to do with the offense. Coach Searels is a good guy too and I am just starting to get to know Coach Ball. He is the old running backs coach and the new receivers coach, so I am interested in knowing more about him. I think I will spend a lot of time with him when I take my official visit to Georgia."
The one time Auburn commitment is now totally open. He is looking at three schools and he plans to visit his three finalists between now and Signing Day.
"I would say everything is open for me right now," said the four-star receiver out of Garden City Community College. "I am looking at Georgia, South Carolina, and Auburn. I have three official visits set up and I will visit South Carolina next weekend (1/16), Georgia after that (1/23), and then Auburn last (1/30). I should know my decision right after that last visit."
"I just want to check each school out, take the official visits, and see how I feel at each school. I am open to all three right now."
No leader, no commitment, and all three have a shot, but Georgia definitely helped themselves Friday evening.
"Me and my mom like Georgia and they are close to home, so that is great. The thing that impressed me most during the visit was how comfortable they made me feel. They make it easy when they are around and they had me thinking a lot about what it would be like to be a Georgia Bulldog. Comfort is a big key for me with my decision and I have a very good relationship with Georgia."
