Who's the best in Georgia? Find out who my top 30 prospects are right here.

After watching tons of film, many practices, multiple camps/combines, and games weekly last fall, here are my final 30 in the state of Georgia.

1. Branden Smith – Booker T. Washington – Corner – UGA
Quick Note: Smith is a confident corner that has great speed and hips.

2. Jarvis Jones – Carver-Columbus – Linebacker
Quick Hitter: Jones is a big hitter that is best at inside linebacker.

3. Greg Reid – Lowndes – Corner
Quick Hitter: Reid is a playmaker and he makes plays on both sides of the ball.

4. Abry Jones – Northside Warner Robins – Defensive Tackle – UGA
Quick Hitter: Jones is great in pursuit and he has strong technique.

5. Donavan Tate – Cartersville – Athlete – UNC
Quick Hitter: Tate will likely play safety, but he will be a first round MLB draft pick.

6. Zach Mettenberger – Oconee County – UGA
Quick Hitter: Arguably the best arm in high school. Really came on in '08.

7. Jonathan Davis – Tucker – Linebacker – UCF
Quick Hitter: Pound for pound one of the best in Georgia. True football player.

8. Chris Burnette – Troup County – Offensive Guard – UGA
Quick Hitter: Great feet and good at getting to the second level.

9. Michael Bowman – Ridgeland – Wide Receiver – Alabama
Quick Hitter: Great size, strength, and hands. Not blazing speed, but fast enough.

10. Washaun Ealey – ECI – Running Back – UGA
Quick Hitter: Very good vision, great lateral movement, and gets yards after contact.

11. Terrell Mitchell – McEachern – Tight End
Quick Hitter: Could be a big receiver or athletic tight end. Very fluid with good quickness.

12. Johnnie Farms – Perry – Offensive Guard – UNC
Quick Hitter: Best run blocker in Georgia. Plays with a nasty attitude.

13. Philip Lutzenkirchen – Lassiter – Tight End – Auburn
Quick Hitter: Really came on in 2008 and showed very good athleticism and hands.

14. Derrick Lott – North Cobb – Defensive Tackle – UGA
Quick Hitter: The most athletic DL in Georgia. Strong, quick, and versatile.

15. Darren Myles – Carver-Atlanta – Safety
Quick Hitter: A very smart safety. Good ball skills and good in run support.

16. Michael Gilliard – Valdosta – Linebacker – UGA
Quick Hitter: Gilliard is good in space, he moves well sideline to sideline, and he plays at a good speed.

17. Stephen Hill – Miller Grove – Wide Receiver – GT
Quick Hitter: Hill is a big target at receiver and he is very explosive. Just needs to work on consistency.

18. Shawn Williams – Early County – Safety – UGA
Quick Hitter: Williams is an aggressive safety and that is better against the pass than some think.

19. Chase Vasser – Chestatee – Linebacker – UGA
Quick Hitter: Vasser has great size and athleticism. Needs to work on getting off blocks.

20. Dallas Lee – Buford – Offensive Guard – UGA
Quick Hitter: Lee is a hard-nosed OL with good strength and leg drive.

21. Kevin Minter – Peachtree Ridge – Linebacker – LSU
Quick Hitter: Minter is a linebacker that takes good angles and he is a solid tackler.

22. Dexter Moody – ECI – Linebacker – UGA
Quick Hitter: Moody is very athletic and he has a lot of speed. Needs to work on fundamentals at LB.

23. Jamal Patterson – Henry County – Wide Receiver – Stanford
Quick Hitter: Patterson is receiver with good size and solid hands. Needs to work on getting separation.

24. Drayton Calhoun – Tucker – ATH – LSU
Quick Hitter: Calhoun has a lot of speed, but needs to add strength. He could play RB, WR, or CB.

25. Eric Fields – Northside Warner Robins – Linebacker – Clemson
Quick Hitter: Fields is known for delivering big hits and he has good speed.

26. Darius Slay – Brunswick – ATH – Mississippi State
Quick Hitter: Slay is a gifted athlete that could shine on offense or defense.

27. Roderick Sweeting – Luella – Corner – GT
Quick Hitter: Sweeting is big like a safety, but he can cover like a corner. He plays very physical.

28. Prince Kent – Norcross – Defensive Back – Miami
Quick Hitter: Kent looks like a Miami safety. He likes to hit, he is long, and he likes to punish the opponent.

29. Raymond Beno – Newnan – Offensive Guard – GT
Quick Hitter: Beno is a little on the short side, but he gets the job done. Great technique and a mauler inside.

30. Jemea Thomas – Fitzgerald – ATH – GT
Quick Hitter: Thomas is a very physical athlete that could play running back or safety at GT.
