John Beason liked his trip to Georgia but did not pull the trigger by committing to the Dawgs. "I loved it, but I am going to take my trips to Tennessee, Miami, and Florida State," said Beason. The South Florida Safety said that he will make his decision on signing day.
Secondary Coach Willie Martinez has been recruiting Beason for Georgia and according to the prep star the two have hit it off real well. Beason said because Martinez is from the Miami area he can relate to him. "He's from around here and his niece goes to my school (Chaminade). I've got a real good feel for him. He and I have had a lot of discussions."
Beason said that he was pleased to see that Georgia was improving in more ways than one as far as their football program is concerned. "I like that they are working on their facilities and their football team is improving," said Beason "The fans support the team. It is a really good fit for anyone looking to have a successful college career."
I asked Beason if he felt like he could get the same college experience at Tennessee, Miami, and Florida State and he responded, "here at Chaminade everything is base on family and everyone is close nit, that's the way that it was at Georgia."
