Comments for Georgia's newest commitment

As we reported last week, Jarvis Jackson did go ahead and pull the trigger this weekend.

Georgia picked up a commitment from another one of the state's top linebackers this weekend in Booker T. Washington's Jarvis Jackson. Jackson is a head hunter that plays sideline to sideline for Washington, but he will move from his middle linebacker spot to the outside at Georgia.

"I committed to Georgia this weekend," said Jackson. "I just felt real comfortable up there. Demario Minter was my player host. I really like Coach Richt and Coach Van Gorder. They're recruiting me to play the 'Will' (weakside) linebacker right now. I was supposed to visit Louisville on the 31st, but I'm canceling that visit. I'm solid to Georgia."

Georgia must replace all three starting linebackers from last year's SEC Championship team, and Des Williams, Danny Verdun, Danny Ware, and now Jarvis Jackson will go a long way towards filling that void. And Georgia might not be done at the linebacker position in this year's recruiting class.
