Strudivant returned to the Bulldogs this fall after rehabilitating much of the last year. He is considered one of the top offensive tackles in the SEC. The Bulldogs struggled with season-ending injuries on the offensive line last year. The loss of Sturdivant will impact the Dawgs' offense, which struggled to score in their 24-10 loss at #10 Oklahoma State Saturday.
News on Sturdivant
The news is not good for sophomore offensive tackle Trinton Sturdivant. Dawg Post has been able to confirm that he will miss the remainder of the 2009 season. Head coach Mark Richt is expected to inform the media of the injury this evening. This is the second season Sturdivant will miss as a result of an injury to his left leg.
