Ask the Expert: Any Commits Wavering?

Which of Georgia's commitments are strongest? Who are the Dawgs still going after? Dean Legge asks's Chad Simmons about Georgia's recruiting class.

It seems Georgia's commits are being targeted by other schools, which is not necessarily new, but do you mind talking about the chance of Georgia actually losing a commitment to another school... or even how solid each commit is in your mind. Which school seems to be most after each commit?

Nickell Robey - Tennessee, West Virginia and South Florida along with Georgia will likely get official visits from Robey. He is still committed to Georgia, but will take a look at other programs. I think the odds of him signing with Georgia are still high.

T.J. Stripling - Florida, Tennessee and Ohio State are schools outside of Georgia that Stripling may visit. He is still committed to Georgia, and I see him signing with the Dawgs in the end.

Garrison Smith - Many schools are still recruiting Smith, but he is a solid commitment.

Dexter Morant - Morant is set to go to Georgia.

Jakar Hamilton - Hamilton is committed to Georgia for Georgia and he said his commitment is strong.

Deon Rogers - This one has never been a strong commitment, but as we inch closer to Signing Day it looks more and more like Rogers will sign with Georgia. FSU is the big one here because if Jeff Luc picks them, then the odds are high that he inks with the Noles, but FSU doesn't appear to be the leader for Luc at this time.

Brandon Burrows - Burrows is solid to Georgia. They stuck with him through his injury and he is sticking with Georgia.

Ken Malcome - Malcome is a strong commitment.

Alec Ogletree - Tennessee is really trying to get back in it with Ogletree, but he is not looking at anyone but Georgia.

Derek Owens - Owens is solid to Georgia.

Demetre Baker - Strong in his commitment.

Michael Bennett - Bennett is a strong commitment to Georgia.

Brent Benedict - Benedict is still hearing from a number of schools, but he is solid with the Bulldogs and not changing his mind.

Da' Rick Rogers - Rogers is set to stay in state and to play for Georgia.

B.J. Butler - Florida is still involved, and the Dawgs have to be concerned with the Gators being involved until the papers are signed.

Kolton Houston - Houston is a strong commitment.

Marc Deas - Deas is a strong commitment.

Jalen Fields - Fields is a strong commitment.

What prospects committed to other programs are the Dawgs going after?

Blake Sims (Alabama), Telvin Smith (FSU) and Corey Crawford (Clemson) are two in-state prospects the Dawgs are going after hard it seems. They have had heavy talks with each party and Georgia will likely get official visits from both of them.
