Rogers said earlier this week that he felt Luc had a good time and that he was "acting like himself" on the visit. Luc confirmed that he was having fun in Athens last night.
"Georgia was a great experience," Luc said. "I've been there before in the summer, but I didn't get a chance to see the facilities. I got a chance to do that this time and hang out with some of the players. It was nice."
Luc and Rogers hung out with Reshad Jones, Rennie Curran, Nick Williams and others during their trip. Unlike his previous trip to Georgia, Luc was able to take in more of what Georgia was like for a football players. In the summer, when he visited last, Luc was unable to watch practice or see all of the facilities. He did both this weekend.
"Watching the team practice on Sunday was something I was not able to do the last time I visited," Luc said.
Watching that practice may help the Bulldogs in their recruiting efforts for Luc. He was impressed with the Dawgs' coaching staff, and their relationship with their players.
"I could see the way they coached the players, and how they communicate with their players," he said. "You can tell they have a great relationship with their players. It's obvious that the players really trust the coaches. They seem to have a great relationship with their players."
The night before Luc got an up-close look at what a game is like Between the Hedges. He did not come away unimpressed.
"That was a really intense game – just the crowd and everything. It was crazy. I thought that Auburn was a really good team - don't get that twisted," he said.
On Sunday Luc got a chance to spend time with Georgia's head coach. Mark Richt made clear to Luc that he was the top target for the Dawgs at middle linebacker.
"I really like Mark Richt. He is real cool. I guess I am on the top of their list," Luc said.
But Luc is on the top of everyone's list. And the list is long. Georgia must beat out Florida, Florida State (where he is unofficially visiting this weekend), LSU, Alabama, Tennessee and Southern Cal for the prospect. Right now Luc is playing his cards close to the vest.
"I've liked Georgia since I came for the camp in the summer. But everyone is even in my mind," he said.
