Profile 2004 - Calvin Johnson (WR)

The class of 2004 may lack the depth at receiver that the class of 2003 had, but Calvin Johnson would be a blue chip prospect in any year. He is a huge receiver at 6-4 and 200 pounds with 4.5 speed. He had 34 catches for over 600 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior, and he is poised for an even bigger season this year as Sandy Creek's starting quarterback is returning too.

When it comes to choosing a college, Johnson has it fairly well narrowed down early.

"I went to camps at Georgia and Auburn last summer," said Johnson. "I'll go back to Georgia for sure this summer, but I'm not sure about Auburn. I may try to go to Georgia Tech as well. Georgia and Georgia Tech are my two favorite schools right now, because I'd like to stay close to home."

Johnson is an excellent student that will have no trouble qualifying, and he has already picked up offers from his two favorite teams.
