Jackson to Transfer

ATHENS – Georgia tailback Dontavius Jackson will transfer, according to head coach Mark Richt.

Arrested July 11, Jackson was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and other motor vehicle offenses.

Jackson was facing a minimum of at least six-game suspension.

The redshirt sophomore tailback from Heard County appeared in four games last season, and rushed four times for 38 yards.
