Profile 2004 - Tony Bell (S/LB)

Tony Bell will be one of the most highly recruited defenders in the state of Alabama this season. He played linebacker as a junior, but is being recruited to play safety on the next level. With his outstanding size though, he could end up at outside linebacker in a few years. He stands at 6-2 and 205 pounds and has a personal best of 4.5 in the forty.

Bell has already picked up early offers from LSU and Auburn, and he includes both sets of Tigers in his early list of favorites.

"My top teams right now would probably be Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, and Georgia," said Bell. When asked if there was a fifth team, Bell added Alabama. "Alabama would be the 5th team I guess, because they are close to home."

Bell is a good student that should have no trouble qualifying. He has the physical ability to be an early contributor in at safety. As big as he is now though, it wouldn't be shocking to see him at outside linebacker in college.
