Wilder to Georgia?

ATHENS - James Wilder changed his phone number last week because things had gotten too stressful.

Now a news report citing sources with a dateline of Tampa claims that Wilder will pick Georgia at a news conference at Plant High Wednesday afternoon.

The last two press conferences involving Bulldog recruits at Plant ended with Aaron Murray and Orson Charles picking Georgia.

Two days ago Wilder told Scout.com's Chad Simmons that Georgia was "Running Back U". But the star is also considering Florida and Florida State.

"I woke up yesterday knowing where I was going and then I got up today and it was a different school today, so when I think I know, I really don't," Wilder told Simmons. "I think I have an idea, but I want to wake up thinking and feeling the same way a couple of days in a row. I will be ready by Wednesday though."

Wilder is considered a five-star prospect by Scout.com and is considered the #2 overall prospect in Florida and the #9 overall player in the country.
