The Saxon Shootout Preview

The place: John Stockton's Warehouse on Hamilton Street. When: June 20, 21 & 22. Zag fans and high school basketball fans alike are in for a hoops treat as the Saxon Shootout brings in some of the finest talent in Washington.

At the Warehouse June 20-22 several state-caliber teams with Division 1 players from three states will compete.

In addition to the Varsity 1 Division, there is a Varsity 2 Division for large-school JV teams and small school Varsity teams. Also, the Washington Officials Association will be conducting the state officials clinic during the tournament.

The Warehouse is air-conditioned with 5 courts under one roof. One of the courts is directly from Salt Lake City's Salt Palace where John Stockton and the Utah Jazz used to play.

Admission is $1 & $2 for students and adults on Friday and Sunday, and $2 and $3 on Saturday. T-shirts and concessions will be available.
