Some of the top 2018 Gonzaga targets have noticed this impressive run

Here are some thoughts from some of Gonzaga's top recruits on the Final Four

With Gonzaga breaking through and playing in its first Final Four, it appears that things are only getting brighter for the program. The Zags and Oregon were the first two teams from the West Coast to make the Final Four since UCLA did nearly a decade ago. Naturally, this level of winning has caught the attention of some of the best prospects in the country.

We exchanged texts with David Singleton and Brandon Williams, two of the top targets in 2018, to get their thoughts on Gonzaga making the Final Four.

For Singleton, breaking through to the Final Four is just another reminder about how consistently excellent the Zags have been over the past 19 years.

"Yes," Singleton said when asked if this changed his thoughts on Gonzaga at all. "Because it seems that the program produces results and whatever they're doing is working."

The talented Bishop Montgomery guard also admitted that he has kept a close eye on the Zags throughout the tournament.

"I've been watching them very closely and I've learned my game is like the Gonzaga guard's,” Singleton emphasized.

For Brandon Williams, he admitted that breaking through to the Final Four was something that caught his eye as he continues to evaluate some of the top schools on his list.

"It does change my perception just knowing they are still in the tournament is showing how their program is built," the talented point guard explained. "Making the tournament isn't enough for them, they are used to it, and the next step for them is to win the Championship."
