Video: Sanders A Good Fit

Ypsilanti WR Marvon Sanders is one of the state's top playmakers. When watching him on film, it is apparent that his speed, elusiveness and general playmaking ability would all make him a good fit at Grand Valley. Here are some highlights of Sanders in action.

While he lacks size, Marvon Sanders has great explosion. He has the speed and quickness to create separation off the line and out of his breaks and is a dangerous runner after the catch. In the GVSU offense, he could fit a variety of roles, but I could see him as a Preston Garris/Blake Smolen type who can play in the backfield or line up in the slot. At the very least, his return abilities would also be a welcomed addition. Sanders has drawn interest from Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan and Duke among others, but has yet to receive a scholarship offer.
