GVSU Commits Shining on Hardwood

GVSU has pulled in quite the basketball class and so far this season and so far, they are making big splashes this high school season. Here are updates on two of the commits, Wes Trammel and Nick West.

Wes Trammell
Trammell has led Jenison to a strong start this season. He has done a good job of setting up his teammates and although he isn't scoring as much this season, he is filling the stat column in other ways. Still, even with Tony Nelson helping out in the scoring column, Trammell is averaging 17.2 points per game, including a 24 point effort against Wyoming Park.

Nick West
Wow, what a start to the season he has had. West is a double-double machine. 16 points, 23 rebounds against Ferndale, 16 and 18 against Hazel Park, 18 points against West Bloomfield, 19 points against Bloomfield Hills Lasher and 21 points and 6 six blocks against Hamtramck. West will be an impact player at GVSU.

We will have updates on Nick Carreri and Corey Jones, the other two Laker commits later this week.
