Commits Flood In for GVSU

A trio of teammates and another highly productive in-state player committed to Grand Valley State today.

Grand Valley State picked up four more verbals today, Clarkston running back Dakota Bender and Inkster's trio of wide receiver Vorheese Zanders and athletes Daniel Lindsey and Nathan Lindsey.

GVReport has been fortunate enough to see all three play. Zanders is an ideal slot receiver who could also play cornerback. He is a quick kid, a great route runner and made some big plays for the Vikings this year, including a game winning 63-yard touchdown to end Steubenville (Ohio) High's 68 game home win streak. Zanders also had an offer from Alabama A&M.

The 6'0, 186-lb Bender is a tough, versatile kid who can catch the ball, pass block, return kicks and even possibly play in the defensive backfield. He helped Clarkston to an undefeated regular season and a deep playoff run this year and was twice named All-Conference.

The Lindsey twins played with Zanders this year after transferring from Taylor Truman. Both had verbal offers from MAC programs this summer. Both have experience at running back, but played primarily at safety and rover this year and also returned kicks. Both are rated as two-star prospects by
