Football: Chang named WAC Offensive P.O.W.

Timmy Chang garners WAC honor after passing for five touchdowns as Hawaii beats Fresno State.

DENVER – Hawai‘i quarterback Timmy Chang has been named the Western Athletic Conference offensive player of the week.

Chang completed 40-of-60 passes for 353 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions in Hawai‘i's 55-28 win over Fresno State. Chang completed passes to 11 different players and threw touchdowns of 22, 9, 3, 1 and 5 yards in the contest.

The Warriors will now hit the road as they travel to Ruston, Louisiana for a Saturday match-up with the Bulldogs of Louisiana Tech.
