After two power outages that lasted nearly two and half hours, Sacramento State energizes itself past Hawaii in a non-conference game.
HONOLULU - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow baseball team (19-12) fell to the Sacramento State Hornets (20-19) 6-3 in a game that was delayed 2 hours and 41 minutes due to a couple of power outages at the Les Murakami Stadium Tuesday. Keahi Rawlins (1-2) took the loss while Marshall Hendon (1-2) got the win for the Hornets. Renecke Stelzriede picked up his third save. The attendance for the game was 1,931.
Isaac Omura led the way off the bence for the 'Bows, going 1-for-2 with two RBI. Gregory Kish added a 2-for-3 game with a run while Brian Finegan was 1-for-4 with a run.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow at 6:35 p.m. for the last game of the mid-week series.
