HONOLULU - The University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine basketball team geared up for the 2004-05 campaign with a 69-59 exhibition win over the Alumnae team Sunday afternoon at the Stan Sheriff Center. The game served as a dress rehearsal for the team's season opener on November 26.

The Rainbow Wahine spotted the Alumnae an early lead, before moving ahead for good a little more than five minutes in. UH shot a solid 44 percent in the first half , while holding the Alumnae to just 25 percent to take a 14-point lead at the break. The Rainbow Wahine led by as many as 21 points in the second half on its way to a comfortable win margin.
