UH is currently in a three-way tie for sixth place with 2-3 mark in the WAC. UTEP (8-7) is in a tie for third place at 3-2, while Boise State (6-8) is in ninth at 1-4. Hawaii faced its first road test of the season and returned with a 1-2 mark, including an impressive 70-63 come-from-behind win over SMU. UH is coming off of a disappointing 68-54 loss at Louisiana Tech, a game in which the Rainbow Wahine held a double-digit lead. Both UTEP and Boise State are coming off of home wins and are looking for their first road conference wins of the season. UH is a combined 9-0 versus the Miners and Broncos in Honolulu. Scouting Boise State: Boise State enters this week's action with a 6-8 record...the Broncos are in ninth in the WAC standings with a 1-4 mark...after losing its first four WAC games, they won their first conference game of the season over the weekend with a 70-51 home win over Nevada...guard Tasha Harris led BSU with 14 points in the win and is the team's leading scorer at 12.6 ppg...the Broncos are the top 3-point shooting team in the WAC (91 made, 36.3%)...Boise State will face San Jose State on Thursday before heading out to Hawaii.
