Season tickets go on sale

Season tickets for the 2002 University of Hawaii football season are now on sale. Sideline tickets are $135, while south endzone tickets are $117. North endzone tickets are $117 for adults, and $77 for high school students and senior citizens.

Tickets can be purchased at the UH box office, or they can be ordered by calling 944-BOWS. The Warriors have eight home games this year, and the season kicks off August 31st against Eastern Illinois.

Wahine volleyball players voted to first-team

Four Wahine were voted onto the WAC's preseason first-team, including Kim Willoughby who was picked to be the player of the year. Also chosen for the first-team was leftside hitter Lily Kahumoku, middle blocker Maja Gustin, and setter Margaret Vakasausau.

Willoughby led the nation in kills last season, and was named WAC player of the year. Kahumoku returns to the team after a year off, but she will again be an intricate part of the Wahine's drive to the Final Four.
