Wallace out of hospital

Men's basketball coach released this afternoon from Las Vegas hospital.

University of Hawaii men's basketball coach Riley Wallace was released this afternoon from University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Wallace, who was in Las Vegas on his way to the UH/BYU football game, admitted himself into the UMC emergency room last Thursday and had brain surgery performed on Friday to remove two subdural hematomas. Hematomas is the bleeding in the brain that produces pressure on the skull.

Doctors this morning removed a tube that was in Wallace's head to drain excess fluid. After a CT scan was performed, which turned out negative, Wallace was released.
