Wahine Volleyball: Remain second in poll

Hawaii goes into conference play ranked second in the country.

 

The University of Hawaii Wahine volleyball team remained second in the latest AVCA/USA Today Division 1 Coaches Poll which was released today. USC remained at number one after defeating Arizona State and Arizona over the weekend. The Wahine swept non-conference opponents Houston and St. Mary's and received eight of the 65 first place votes. The top-ranked Trojans garnered 55 first place votes. Stanford and Long Beach State split the other two votes. Hawaii opens up WAC play this Friday evening against Rice at the Stan Sheriff Center.
