NEVADA- Looking to snap two game losing streak....Have played three teams that were ranked at the time of their games, Washington State, BYU and Colorado State....Will be without the services of running back Chance Kretschmer who is out for the year with an ACL injury....lead the nation in rushing last season as a freshman....With the loss of Kretschmer, Wolfpack have gone back to airing out the ball....QB Zack Threadgill is first in the conference and fifth nationally in total offense(336.8)....Two time conference offensive player of the week....WR Nate Burleson is first nationally in receptions(10.6) and first in the conference and fourth nationally in receiving yards(136.4)....Burleson has been invited to play in the Hula Bowl, but has yet to accept....Have not been shutout since Sept. 27, 1980, a span of 261 games, the longest streak among WAC schools....Have only scored 25 points in the fourth quarter, but have given up 45....Picked to finish sixth in the pre-season media poll....Beat Hawaii 28-20 last year in Reno....Series tied at three games a piece.

HAWAII- Homecoming game....Coming off worse loss since 1999 season opener against USC....Are in fourth place in the conference standings....Third home game of the season....Averaging 39.4 points per game....First in the conference in total offense(465.6) and total defense(354.6)....WR Justin Colbert has now caught at least one pass in 17 consecutive games....WR Chad Owens is second in the conference in receptions per game(7.00) and receiving yards(81.2)....Defense has intercepted eight passes, returning three for scores....OG Vince Manuwai has been credited with 20 "pancakes" through first five games....Offensive line has given up only 1.5 sacks....Expect to get back defensive back Abraham Elimimian....RB Mike Bass is questionable and WR Nate Ilaoa is doubtful....Last time teams played at Aloha Stadium(2000 season), Hawaii won 37-17.
