Volleyball: Poll keeps Wahine at second

Hawaii takes 13-0 record on the road this week.

The University of Hawaii Wahine volleyball team remains second in the latest AVCA/USA Today coaches top 25 poll. The Wahine received six of the 65 first place votes. USC remains the top team in the land after two weekend victories and picked up the remaining 59 votes.

 

Hawaii improved to 13-0 and 3-0 in the WAC with an easy three game victory Sunday night over Tulsa at the Stan Sheriff Center. The Wahine will now take their show on the road for matches Thursday at UTEP and early Saturday morning at SMU.

 

First serve for Thursday's match is 3 p.m. Hawaii time. On Saturday, its waffle's with the Wahine as UH has a very early 6 a.m. Hawaii start time. Pre-match show starts 15 minutes prior to the first serve and can be heard live on the internet at: www.hawaiisportsnetwork.com
