Timmy Chang receives his first ever Player of the Week honor.
Quarterback Timmy Chang has been named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Chang completed 36 of 61 passes for 462 yards and two touchdowns in leading the Warriors to a 31-21 road victory over Fresno State. Chang set career highs in both completions and yards.
Chang's 13 yard touchdown pass to Britton Komine with left in the game proved to be the game winner as Hawaii won at Fresno for the first time since 1973.
Tulsa cornerback Darrell Wimberly and Rice linebacker Adam Herrin were named the WAC defensive and special team's players of the week, respectively.
