Volleyball: Wahine remain second in poll

The 19-0 Wahine volleyball team continues to keep pace with top ranked USC in latest rankings.

Once again, the University of Hawaii Wahine volleyball team finds itself ranked second in the latest USA Today/AVCA Coaches Top-25 poll, released today.

 

USC is the top team at 18-0 and received 58 of the 65 first place votes. Hawaii got the other seven votes.

 

The Wahine went 4-0 last week, with wins over Notre Dame twice, San Jose State and

Fresno State to up their record to 19-0 and 7-0 in the WAC. Hawaii also has now won a school record 42 straight games.

 

Hawaii heads to Nevada and Boise State for matches Friday and Saturday, respectively.
