Mens Volleyball Falls a Spot in Rankings

UC Irvine is the new number one in the latest rankings after Warriors fall in five to Stanford.

The University of Hawaii Warrior volleyball team has dropped from the top spot in the latest Coaches Top 15 poll released Tuesday morning.

 

UC Irvine (9-0) is the new number one and received 14 of the 16 first place votes, Hawaii (5-1) checks in at number two with the remaining two votes.

 

The Warriors held the top spot for two weeks, but were defeated by Stanford last Friday at home in five games.

 

The Men of War are on the road for their next four matches with two against number one ranked UC Irvine this Friday and Saturday and a pair of matches at fifth ranked Long Beach State the following week.
