Houston Cougars head coach Tom Herman and his staff and players were back on the practice field Sunday evening after a couple days off following the team's road conference win over Cincinnati Thursday night. After the team's workouts Herman met with the media and talked for a while about the status of many different Cougar players who have been slowed by injuries since the start of the season. Herman also touched briefly on the polls, mostly about his lack of value in them this early in the process. He talked briefly about some early thoughts on this week's opponent in Texas State as well.
