Texas Hot 100 wideout Quincy Driver spoke with TheInsiders.com about the upcoming '04 football season for his Houston Lamar football team whn he said, "I'm looking forward to my senior year and focusing on steppin'-it-up another notch."
"I think if all the guy's pick it up this season we can definitely improve on our record," Quincy Driver, cousin to Donald Driver, said. "I'm not worried about personal goals, I want to help us win."
Driver's stats this past season were as follows: 27 catches for 395 yards, 4 touchdowns, with nearly a 16 yard average per catch. That was good enough to land the kid a 2nd-team all-district slot this past season.
Those aren't monster numbers compared to some other wideouts but it certainly hasn't kept any colleges from tossing paperwork his way.
"There have been some schools that are showing interest," Driver said.
According to the Bayou City prep those would be, "LSU, Texas, A&M, Arkansas, Oregon and (home town) Houston."
