Big Man Prospect?
Also courtesy of CollegeBasketballNews, Montclair College Prep, located by Van Nuys, California. Montclair was 14-13 last season, but had three foreign players sitting out the season. One of those players is 6-8 senior Marko Bozovic (Yugoslavia). Bozovic is looking at schools like Cal Irvine, Houston, St. Mary's and SMU. He has a 3.3 GPA.

According to PrepWestHoops, Bozovic had knee surgery right before the summer and he's just now getting his rhythm back on the court. He's got a pretty nice shot, and good size, but needs work on his defense and decision-making.

Sunday Update: Greg Hicks responded on his forum that "I don't think [Bozovic's] a Houston level player, so I'd be surprised if they're actually recruiting him. I think Bozovic would be much better suited to the low-major level. We don't hear much from West Coast kids regarding Houston. I can't recall anyone out here mentioning them lately." It looks like Ray & Co. stick to Texas and the Midwest with an occasional trip to the East Coast.

Given UH's depth and the graduation of Terry Price, walkons will be important next year for depth and practice.
