Idaho stuns Oregon, beats Ducks in Eugene

LED BY SENIOR FORWARD BRANDON WILEY, THE IDAHO VANDALS (6-5) jumped out to an early lead then hung on for a thrilling 69-65 victory over the Oregon Ducks (7-5) Tuesday night at Oregon's McArthur Court in the final non-conference game at the historic venue. It was Idaho's first victory at Oregon since 1965, and was a stellar rebound from last Saturday's frustrating last second loss to Montana.

Idaho improved to 6-5 on the season with Tuesday's dramatic road win over Oregon (7-5).

Brandon Wiley
Led Vandals with 14 points in 30 minutes of action, and also led the team with 6 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.

Landon Tatum
Finished second on the team with 11 points, and also grabbed 5 rebounds and 2 steals in 24 minutes.

Deremy Geiger
From his guard position Geiger has been stellar this year, and against the Ducks finished with 9 points on 3-of-6 shooting from behind the 3-point arc, and nabbed 4 rebounds.

INTERESTING NOTE: The Ducks gave up 40 points in the first half which tied for the second-highest opponent scoring total this season. UO gave up 44 points in the first half against Missouri, and 40 points in the neutral-site loss to top-ranked Duke.
