Two Offers For Washington

Sir Washington, an intriguing senior guard out of Las Vegas, has a couple West Coast offers...

Sir Washington, 6-2 SR SG Las Vegas (Nev.) Clark, is a versatile prospect that can do a little bit of everything on the court. He's got pretty good ball skills, he can defend and he has good size and athleticism.

I spoke with him recently and he gave me an update on his recruitment.

"I'm hearing from Northern Arizona, Eastern Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Loyola Marymount and Nevada," said Washington.

When asked which schools have offered, Washington replied, "Northern Arizona and Eastern Washington."

I asked Washington what he's looking for in a school.

"I'd like to major in business," said Washington. "The location doesn't really matter, but I would like to be able to play early."

I asked Washington if he has a sense for which school is recruiting him the hardest.

"Eastern Washington," said Washington.

Washington said he hopes to make his decision sometime after the summer. He said he has a 2.7 GPA.
