THE VANDALS DROPPED THEIR THIRD IN A ROW with Saturday's 85-73 loss at Portland State, rounding out a rough week on the road. Sophomore guard SEKOU WIGGS finished with 12 points in the game, second only to senior guard Mike Scott with 15 points. Thursday Idaho returns home to face North Dakota, followed by BSC leader Northern Colorado Saturday night (both games tipoff at 7:05 PM in the Cowan).

After jumping out to a 2-0 Big Sky Conference start, including wins over Weber State and Idaho State, the Vandals have lost three in a row, starting with last Saturday's 3-point home loss to Eastern Washington (currently 2nd in the Big Sky), followed by road losses at league leading Sacramento State (3-point loss, 79-76) and Saturday's 12-point setback at Portland State.

At Portland State Idaho struggle with turnovers (14, versus just six for PSU), and from the free-throw line (43% versus 79% for PSU), and although they were able to cut into big PSU leads on numerous occasions, couldn't take the lead.

Up next Idaho faces North Dakota (5-11, 1-4 Big Sky) followed by Northern Colorado (9-7, 4-1 BSC) in the friendly confines of the Cowan Spectrum in Moscow.
