Idaho "Fan Zone" construction underway

THE UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO IS ENHANCING THE FAN EXPERIENCE this fall by testing a new semi-permanent structure for pre-game events. Located on the north lawn in front of the Kibbie Dome, the 16,000 square foot climate controlled facility will be open to Idaho fans of all ages for all six football home games this fall.

Idaho is making a new addition to the pre-game experience this fall by building a semi-permanent structure on the north lawn of the Kibbie Dome. The facility will be available to Idaho fans starting 3 hours before kickoff for each home game, including opening at 3pm for the Ohio University game on Thursday, September 3rd. The facility will close at game time.

Live music, food and beverage service, and a convenient location to by Vandal gear are all planned for the Fan Zone. Below is a link to the official Fan Zone site:

Per a Moscow-Pullman Daily News report earlier this week, the structure is being rented this fall and will be evaluated in the coming months before a decision is made to purchase the structure later this fall.
