Scott invited to Las Vegas All-American Classic

The first of what will hopefully be several honors for senior offensive tackle <b>Jake Scott</b> is an invitation to play in the Las Vegas All-American Classic. Last year, running back <b>Blair Lewis</b> participated in this senior-only event formerly known as the Paradise Bowl. A pre-season All-Conference selection, we'll keep our eyes open for more awards headed his way.<br> <br> In the meantime, congratulations to the 4-year starter, former walk-on, and Lewiston, Idaho native!

LAS VEGAS-Senior right tackle Jake Scott, of Idaho, was recently selected to play in the Findlay Toyota Las Vegas All-American Classic, a college all-star football game held on January 17 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

Scott, who will play for the West squad, is among 110 college seniors selected to play from among the top football schools in the country.

Players, coaches, professional scouts and, most of all, the fans will enjoy a week's worth of fun in Las Vegas starting on January 11 when the players arrive and are treated to a welcome party. In addition to the serious business of practices with their respective East or West squads and skills tests from the NFL scouts; there will be plenty of action with fan festivals, hospitals and school visits, Youth Football camps, banquet, golf tournament, All-American Classic Experience, a Friday concert and much more.
