Game time is 7 p.m.

The Vandal Women (20-5, 12-4 BWC) are 2 victories away from clinching at least a tie for second place in the final Big West Conference standings going into the conference tournament which starts Wednesday, March 10 at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena. Because they hold the tie-breaker over Pacific (currently tied with UI for second in the conference), if Idaho can win out they would retain their strong-hold on second place and receive a bye straight to the tournament semi-finals. Even if they stumble they will finish no worse than third, and would receive a bye as well, but 2 tournament wins would be needed to reach the conference championship. Tonight, Senior Night, Idaho takes on a solid team in Long Beach State (11-13, 7-8 BWC), then round out the regular season on the road in Logan, UT to take on Utah State (4-20, 4-12 BWC). The team needs all the support they can get to finish this season with 2 more wins, so make plans to watch the Nation's #1 scorer Emily Faurholt and the rest of the Vandals position themselves for a BWC Tournament run and a shot at the NCAA or NIT tournament.

The Vandal Men (12-14, 8-8 BWC) have made a remarkable turnaround as the season has progressed, and have positioned themselves in sole possession of 4th place in the Big West Conference. Idaho needs to take care of business on the road tonight as they take on a struggling Long Beach State team (6-18, 4-11 BWC) at The Pyramid in Long Beach, CA. The team then wraps up the regular season at home next Friday as Top 25 Utah State (23-2, 15-1 BWC) comes to Moscow in what should be an outstanding Senior Night matchup in the Cowan Spectrum March 5th at 7:00pm PST. Make plans to attend today!
