MOSCOW -- The University of Idaho women's basketball roster continued to dwindle Thursday as redshirting guard Veneice Guillory left the program.
Sophomore wing Taylor Benson also quit this week, but a UI publicist said Thursday she may be reconsidering.
If Benson leaves, the Vandals have only six available players, not counting junior post Jamie Coldren, who has missed Idaho's first four games with nerve damage in a foot.
First-year coach Mike Divilbiss may seek walk-on reinforcements, the publicist said.
Guillory, a sophomore from Lapwai, was redshirting this season after tearing an anterior cruciate ligament in her knee last spring. Last season she averaged 4.5 minutes and 1.5 points per game.
Despite the Vandals' thin roster, Benson has seen limited action recently. She is averaging 5.9 minutes and 1.2 points.
The Vandals lost senior starting guard Suzy Goss on Wednesday to a torn ACL.
