Below are the comments of 2 publications concerning this year's first recruit at power forward, David Radlovic from A.B. Lucas High School in Canada, and an excerpt from the UI Press Release announcing his signing with Idaho:

( "6-8 Senior Forward Dave Radlovic from Lucas (London) high school has signed with NCAA D1 Idaho of the Big West. Radlovic had been a hidden gem in the small city of London, Ontario, but has been found out by Coach Perry and his assistant, Donnie Tyndall. After being underrecruited subsequent to a successful senior year, Radlovic has gained the exposure he deserved while playing for Grass Roots, Canada's Elite AAU Team. He will sit out at the small school in Moscow, Idaho during the second semester and start playing next fall."

( "Russell also tells us that 6'8" Dave Radlovic from London (A.B. Lucas) Ontario has picked the University of Idaho over schools like Central Michigan and Western Carolina. Radlovic is best described as an athletic combo forward, because he can rebound, post-up, and shoot the three. He also is a sleeper, because he didn't start playing for Russell's AAU team until late in the summer."

(UI Press Release): "Radlovic was chosen Mr. Basketball after his senior season at A.B. Lucas. During that year, he averaged 24 points, 13 rebounds, five blocked shots and four assists per game. For his club team – the Grassroots out of Toronto, he averaged 13 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots per game over two seasons."

These articles have made our job easy at Dave is an athlete that possesses the size and raw skills that our team has been lacking all year in its front court. What's more exciting is he has an untapped potential to improve under the guidance of Coach Perry and his staff. This young Canadian is one athlete we certainly look forward to watching develop at the University of Idaho, and we look forward to seeing him on the court soon (if not as a freshman, then certainly soon after).
