Before spending this last season at the College of Southern Idaho (CSI), Jack May played one year at Division-1 Duquesne University (Atlantic 10 Conference), where he put up 7 points-per-game and 5.6 rebounds-per-game as a freshman. Part of a heralded freshman class, at least 2 members of the class have since left the school following the dismissal of the coaching staff that brought them there.

Described as a "tough-minded, finesse-type forward/post", he led CSI in rebounding this season and he also led Duquesne University in rebounding for 13 games as a freshman. He was a major contributor this year on a CSI team which consistently ranks among the best JC programs in the country, where he averaged 26 minutes-per-game and helped his team to a 25-4 record.

Simply put, Jack would be an impact player at most schools, and given our need for size and talent in the front court at Idaho, he would be a safe bet to see significant playing time immediately next season. Among those showing early interest in May are Idaho, San Francisco, Boise State, and Fullerton. Whom ever is fortunate enough to have Jack join their recruiting class will be gaining an athlete with a tremendous amount of talent and potential for additional development.
