In an unexpectedly slow offensive night for Idaho, the Vandal defense once again kept Idaho in the game throughout. Although the outcome of the game was a disappointment, the production of the game was not. From the pregame festivities to another excellent band performance, the Athletic Department did a nice job setting the stage for this event.

Sophomore outside linebacker Josh Bousman (31) led Idaho with 13 total tackles for the game including 4 tackles for loss and a sack.

Idaho's young offensive line includes redshirt freshman tightend Rick Harrison (85), and included true freshman Billy Bates, redshirt freshmen Kristopher Anderson and Adam Korby, sophomores Desmond Clark and Marcis Fennell, and junior Hank Therien. The unit allowed fewer sacks this week, but was unable to lead Idaho into the endzone.

Idaho's improving defense continues to make stopping the run a priority. Saturday they gave up over 350 yards through the air, but only yielded 24 points for the night (after spending almost 40 minutes on the field for the night).

Kick returner DeAngelo Ramsey had a good night returning kicks for Idaho (including this return up to the 30-yard line), except for one miscue that pinned Idaho deep in their own territory on the opening return of the third quarter.

Although Idaho QB Steve Wichman struggled against Hawaii, his performance in the first 3 games gives Idaho plenty to look forward to this season.

The Idaho marching band, one of the tops in the west, put on another good show Saturday night.
