Wednesday Morning Edition

The Idaho Vandals get a National Letter of Intent from Jon Tinnon and close out recruiting this season, plus news from around the campus and athletic program.

This afternoon the University of Idaho Men's Basketball team received a national letter of intent from a fifth and final recruit. Jon Tinnon, a 6-8, 225 Power Forward prospect from Southeastern Community College in Iowa, is the third forward to sign with Idaho since last fall. As a high schooler Jon was a good forward on a talented high school team in Portland, OR who fielded recruiting interest from several PAC-10 teams before going to SECC. We'll run a focus story on Jon in the next week or so, along with recent recruits Dwayne Williams and Ronnie Smith.
