This afternoon the University of Idaho Men's Basketball team received a national letter of intent from a fifth and final recruit. Jon Tinnon, a 6-8, 225 Power Forward prospect from Southeastern Community College in Iowa, is the third forward to sign with Idaho since last fall. As a high schooler Jon was a good forward on a talented high school team in Portland, OR who fielded recruiting interest from several PAC-10 teams before going to SECC. We'll run a focus story on Jon in the next week or so, along with recent recruits Dwayne Williams and Ronnie Smith.
University of Idaho press release on Jon Tinnon.
