If you are looking for an opportunity to play one of the most spectacular golf courses in America, then this is a can't miss golf opportunity. Situated on the shores of Lake Coeur D'Alene, the Coeur D'Alene Resort Golf Course features its world famous 14th hole "Floating Green" and spectacular lake and mountain views.
It's a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, make a charitable donation to the Vandal Scholarship Fund (VSF) during the auction AFTER the tournament (proceeds from this auction will be used to fund athletic scholarships at the University of Idaho), and play a truly remarkable golf course all in one day.
For those of you coming to this event from out-of-town and looking to splurge a bit, there is of course the Coeur D'Alene Resort nestled between the lake and downtown Coeur D'Alene. A link has been provided to the Resort below.
For other accommodations in or around Coeur D'Alene, please contact Bob Yuditsky or Pete Isakson for more information.
When: Friday, June 28, 2002
Driving Range Opens - 12:00 p.m.
Tournament Begins - 1:30 p.m. - Shotgun Start (Five-person scramble)
Hosted dinner is lakeside immediately following the tournament.
Fees: $200 per person or $1000 for a five-some (Five-somes are given a free tee sign sponsorship).
Includes green fees, cart, fore caddie (not including tip), driving range, bag tag, tee-prize and dinner.
Dinner Only: $20 per person. Dinner will be served at about 6:00 p.m.
Auction: This is where the opportunity to make a charitable donation to the VSF comes into play. In years past, auction items have included Vandal helmets, sideline passes, seats on the football team plane, and more. It's an opportunity to make a donation to Vandal athletics, and pick up some fantastic memorabilia in the process. Although the fees for the golf tournament itself are NOT tax-deductible, proceeds generated from the auction are a tax-deductible, charitable donation (less the cost of the items purchased).
Please plan on attending this annual event, bring a friend, and plan on playing a course that is both challenging and breathtaking.
