Zach Proett Signs with Idaho

This weekend Mt. Spokane senior Zach Proett, a 6-10, 240 pound senior, signed a letter of intent to play at Idaho next year. Zach joins Anton Lyons, a 6-6 forward currently at Santa Rosa JC, in Idaho's early signing class.

Welcome aboard to both!

Coach Leonard Perry is doing a superb job rebuilding the Idaho Men's Basketball program, and he's doing it with a solid combination of highschool seniors (5) and junior college transfers (7). A year ago we did not have a single player taller than 6-6 on the team. We now have 3 Power Forwards/Centers going 6-8 or more, and adding Zach (6-10, 240....plus a 4.0 GPA) provides a solid foundation for the future. We also have a solid combination of size, speed and shooting skills on the perimeter. And you can count on a Perry coached team to play defense.

Now, its mostly a matter of hard work and playing time to bring this group together. The signing of Zach and Anton, both of whom will join the team next season, simply builds on what Coach Perry is currently putting together in Moscow.

Below is quick glimpse at both Anton and Zach.
