2 MINUTE DRILL: OL Mike Iupati

WITH IDAHO'S FIRST WINNING SEASON IN A DECADE and a dramatic Humanitarian Bowl victory now behind him, University of Idaho consensus First Team All-American offensive guard and Outland Trophy finalist MIKE IUPATI will now focus his attention on the upcoming NFL draft. Ranked the No.1 guard in the nation by Scout.com, the soft-spoken Idaho star talked exclusively to GVN following the big win.

Following Wednesday's dramatic touchdown drive in the final 26 seconds of the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl that gave Idaho a 43-42 victory over Bowling Green, GoVandals.net writer/photographer Larry Johnson caught up with University of Idaho consensus All-American guard and Outland Trophy finalist Mike Iupati.

"Big Mike", as he's known to fans and teammates, is a monster on the field, dominating defenders for years at Idaho, but is soft-spoken off the field. The humble Vandal star reflected on the game, the season, and has a message for Vandal football fans - "Believe."
