Nate Swift, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound, athlete from Hutchinson, Minnesota will be one of the top prospects to watch in the Midwest for 2003.
Swift scored 19 touchdowns as a junior. He was used as a tail back and as a wide receiver. Nate will play tail back in 2003.
"Nathan Swift is the best player I've coached in 35 years," said Hutchinson head coach Andy Rosberg.
"Nathan could play tail back, wide receiver or safety at the next level."
Swift says he doesn't have a scholarship offer yet but plenty of schools are showing interest.
"Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan State, Illinois, Michigan and Iowa are the schools I'm hearing from the most and they would be my favorites right now." Swift said.
Nate Swift rushed for 800 yards and also had 500 yards receiving in 2002. Those numbers were good enough to earn Swift all-state honors.
Swift also letters in basketball, baseball and track.
