"Illinois, Louisville and Ball State have all offered," said defensive back Bobby Buchanan.
"Iowa, UCLA, Toledo, Syracuse, Illinois and Louisville have called so far in May.
"My favorites are UCLA, Iowa, Illinois, Louisville and Ball State. I don't have a leader."
The 6-foot, 180-pounder, from Joliet (Ill.) Catholic will be a three-year varsity starter in 2003. Older brother, Ray Buchanan is a defensive back for the Atlanta Falcons.
Ray Buchanan played his college football for Louisville. Will younger brother follow in Ray's footsteps and play for the Cardinals?
"I like Louisville a lot but they aren't a clear-cut favorite. I'm going to look at all my options and take some visits at the end of the season." Buchanan said.
Buchanan also letters in track and he'll be qualifying next weekend for the state track meet in the 100-meter dash.
